are distracted by being perpetually involved in such emotional sins as fear,
worry, anger, guilt, or self-pity. Other believers may live by the lust pattern
of their sin nature which includes such areas as power, money, pleasure,
social or chemical lusts. Whether it is getting involved in the temporary
spiritual gifts or being a self-righteous legalistic believer prone to judging,
the Bible has made provisions for these and many other distractions. It is
the attempt of this study to discover the many distractions that hinder many
Christians in their spiritual walk. We will investigate what the Bible teaches
about these distractions and the solutions God has provided for us to
overcome them.
